What should I do if my remote control stops working, doesn't adjust volume or doesn't control my DVR? Are replacement remotes available?

Please follow these troubleshooting steps if your remote is not working:

  1. Verify there is nothing blocking the front of the cable box and TV.
  2. Verify that the remote control is in the "Cable" mode. To set the remote to cable mode press the "CBL" button on the remote and verify that the button lights up.
  3. If the button flashes but this does not solve your problem, the remote control may need to be reprogrammed, or reprogrammed for your specific TV. Instructions for programming WOW! remotes are available here.
  4. Replace the batteries in the event they are no longer providing power to the remote.

If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve your problem, please contact us for a replacement remote. You will receive one remote control with each cable receiver you lease from WOW!. If a replacement remote is required one can be mailed to you for a minimal fee.
