What do I do if the battery in my modem is low or needs to be replaced?

Our Phone service (including access to 911) is not available in the event of a power outage, unless the modem is equiped with a functioning battery back-up or other power source. WOW! does not provide a battery backup; however, backup power options are widely available, including solutions that can provide at least 8 hours of standby time, with some options supporting up to 24 hours. You may choose a backup solution, such as a battery, uninterruptible power supply, or generator, from a third-party retailer based on your needs.
