How can I block a specific number or anonymous callers in CommPortal?
What You Are Experiencing
You are receiving repeated unwanted calls from a known number or from callers with no caller ID and want to prevent those calls from reaching your phone or voicemail.
How to Fix This
Option A: Block a Specific Number
- Log in to https://phone.wowforbusiness.com.
- Click Open Call Manager.
- On the right side, click the Advanced Settings arrow.
- Click Reject Selected.
- Click the list option to open the Selective Call Rejection Screening List.
- Enter the 10-digit phone number you want to block and click Add New.
- Click OK, then Apply.
Blocked callers receive a rejection message and are not sent to your voicemail.

Option B: Block All Anonymous or Unknown Callers
- From the Call Manager screen, click Advanced Settings.
- Click Anonymous Callers to toggle it on.
- Click Apply.
Anonymous callers will be rejected without being sent to voicemail.

TIP: You can maintain a block list of up to several numbers through CommPortal.
If you need to remove a number later, go back to Reject Selected, click the list,
hover over the number, and click X to remove it.
