Can I get a public IP address with WOW!?

Yes, you can get a public IP address with WOW! at no additional cost. A public IP address is only required if you would like to set up Port Forwarding, DMZ (demilitarized zone), and DDNS (Dynamic DNS or Dynamic Domain Name Server). All other services should work properly with a private IP address. If you are setting up new services with WOW!, you will be installed with a private IP address. If you choose to set up a public IP address, chat with us or call our team at (866) 496-9669 after your installation.
