You’ll also receive email and text notifications when you reach 75%, 90%, 95%, and 100% of your data plan. Go over your allowance? No problem. As needed, increments of 50GB for $10 will be applied for the remainder of the current calendar month. Total charges will not exceed $50 per billing statement no matter how much data you use. • As an Internet 1 Gig customer, how much data can I use each month?

  Our 1G plan includes 3TB of data. As a 1G plan customer, you’re eligible to add Unlimited data for an additional $30 per month. Unlimited data gives you more than enough to video conference for thousands of hours, binge-watch hundreds of hours of your favorite show, or play thousands of hours of online video games.

• Do other Internet providers have data plans?

  Yes. Data plans have become an industry standard to ensure all customers have a consistent and reliable network experience. However, WOW! has committed to going above and beyond industry norms. While most providers offer 1,200GB of data/month, some WOW! plans offer up to 3,000GB/month! Further, most providers charge a maximum of $100/month for data overages. WOW! charges a maximum of $50/month for overages - no matter how much data you use.

• Why are you limiting my data?

  Streaming video typically accounts for the highest data usage. Changing your streaming resolution setting to “Medium Quality” will reduce data usage. Stop your content and exit your streaming app before turning off your TV. Always close programs and apps you aren’t currently using. Resize images to make them smaller before emailing or uploading to social media. Home security systems and cameras can use a lot of data. Consider adjusting the quality settings as needed. Disable auto-play for videos on websites and social media. Do you fall asleep to a streaming service? Update your settings to ensure content doesn’t auto-play all night.

• Will unused data be applied to the next month?

  Unused data will not be applied to a future month.

• Can I opt out of data plans?

• If I increase my Internet speed, will I get more data?

  Your data plan is based on your Internet speed tier.
