How do I block content and manage my ULTRA TV Parental Controls?

To Turn on Parental Controls:

• From the Smart Menu use the left arrow on the remote to locate the Settings card.
• Highlight the Parental Controls setting and press the OK button on the remote.
• If this is the 1st time that the Parental Controls have been accessed, you will need to create a 4 digit pin and confirm the 4 digit pin using the remote.
• If a PIN has already been setup, highlight the On option and press the OK button.

How to Block or Unblock by TV Ratings:

• Once you've navigated to the Parental Controls setting, press the OK button on the Parental Controls setting again.
• Use the arrow buttons to highlight Settings and press the OK button.
• Highlight the appropriate TV rating that you want to block or unblock using the up and down arrow buttons on the remote.
• Press the OK button.
• If the rating is being unblocked, you will be prompted to enter your PIN.

How to Block or Unblock by Movie Ratings:

• Once you've navigated to the Parental Controls setting, press the OK button on the Parental Controls setting again.
• Use the arrow buttons to highlight Settings and press the OK button.
• Press the right arrow on the remote.
• Highlight the appropriate Movie rating that you want to block or unblock using the up and down arrow buttons on the remote.
• Press the OK button.
• If the rating is being unblocked, you will be prompted to enter your PIN.

How to Block or Unblock by Channel:

• Once you've navigated to the Parental Controls setting, press the OK button on the Parental Controls setting again.
• Use the arrow buttons to highlight Settings and press the OK button.
• Press the right arrow on the remote to the Lock By Channel section.
• Highlight the appropriate channel that you want to block or unblock using the up and down arrow buttons on the remote.
• Press the OK button.
• If the rating is being unblocked, you will be prompted to enter your PIN.

To Change the Relock Timer:

• Once you've navigated to the Parental Controls setting, press the OK button on the Parental Controls setting again.
• Use the arrow buttons to highlight Settings and press the OK button.
• To change the relock timer default setting, press the right arrow on the remote to the Set Relock Timer section.
• Press the OK button.
• Highlight the appropriate relock time that you want using the up and down arrow buttons on the remote.
• Press the OK button.

To Turn off Parental Controls:

• From the Smart Menu, use the left arrow on the remote to locate the Settings card.
• Highlight the Parental Controls setting and press the OK button on the remote.
• To turn off all Parental Controls permanently, highlight Always Off and press OK.
• To turn off Parental Controls temporarily, highlight the 1,2,4, or 6 Hour (set on the Relock timer setting).
• Enter your PIN to Turn off the Parental Controls.

To Reset Your Parental Control PIN Code:

• Once you've navigated to the Parental Controls setting, press the "OK" button on the Parental Controls setting again.
• Use the arrow buttons to highlight Settings and press the OK button.
• Use the right arrow on the remote to highlight Change PIN.
• Press the OK button on the remote to change the Parental Control PIN. Enter the current PIN and then enter the new PIN once. Enter it again to confirm.

Note: ULTRA TV Parental Controls will not control content from 3rd party apps.
