I had network connectivity problems. At first, it was sproradic and lastest briefly, but as days passed, the outages lasted longer and longer. Today, *BAM*, no more internet. So I thought I'd call Wow and ask for help, thinking, you know, I'd get scheduled for a visit from a tech in a week between 9am and 1pm. And I thought I have to hold for 45 minutes before I could a human on the phone.
I got this young lady, Mallory (H6527). She asked what she could do to help. I explained my problem. She asked if I had my own router, which I do. She asked if I could plug the Wow modem directly into one of my PC's. I hadn't thought of that because I had tablets, but the company I work for provides me with a laptop. So following her advice I plugged in that laptop and got directly onto the web.
Mallory troubleshot my problem in minutes. I just can't say enough about Mallory!!! I am really impressed with how quickly she got to the root cause. I just can't thank her enough - I didn't want to go out and buy a router unless I could prove it was the problem. So I'm going to Best Buy now. THANK YOU MALLORY!
The entire phone call, according to my Android, including all the automated stuff before getting to Mallory was 7 minutes and 12 seconds. Wow, that's AWESOME! Booting up my laptop is included in this time as well.
My experience with Wow is so much better than it had been with Comcast!!!
