The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has announced that full funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program will end April 30, 2024. In response, WOW! will end ACP benefits as of April 30, 2024. For current WOW! ACP customers:

  • Why is WOW! no longer providing ACP benefits and accepting enrollments?

    The Federal Communications Commission (Commission) announced that full funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program benefit ended on April 30, 2024. In response WOW! stopped accepting new applications and enrollments after February 7, 2024, and will stop providing ACP benefits as of April 30, 2024.

  • How am I affected by this change if I am receiving ACP benefits?

    Households who have applied, been approved, and are receiving the monthly Internet discount before close of business February 7, 2024 at 9:00 PM ET will continue to receive their ACP benefit from WOW! through April 30, 2024.

  • How will I know when my ACP benefits stop?

    Starting late January 2024 and during the ACP wind-down period, ACP households enrolled in WOW! services received notices from WOW! outlining the following:

    • That the ACP is ending,
    • The impact on their bill,
    • The date of the last bill they will receive that includes the ACP benefit
    • That they may change their service or opt-out of continuing service after the end of the ACP
  • What happens to my bill when my ACP benefits end?

    If you provided consent to automatically shift to WOW!’s standard rates and general terms and conditions after ACP ends, your May 2024 bill will change in the following ways:

    • Your ACP discount will be removed.
    • Your WOW! services will stay the same.
    • You will be billed the standard rates for the services on your account.
    • You can always make changes to your WOW! services. Just give us a call at 866-496-9669.

    If you DID NOT provide consent to automatically shift to WOW!’s standard rates and general terms and conditions after ACP ends:

    • You must call WOW! at 866-496-966 by April 30, 2024, to continue your services and make any necessary updates to your account.
    • If you do not contact us by April 30, the ACP regulation requires us to disconnect your services on May 1, 2024.
  • What are my choices when my ACP benefits stop?

    After you stop receiving ACP benefits you will have the option to:

    • Keep Your Current Plan: If you’re happy with your Internet plan and services, you can keep your current services at the standard rate.
    • Enroll in New Simplified Pricing: Enroll in one of our new Internet plans that start at $30/mo and include super-fast Internet, WiFi modem, no annual contracts, no data caps, and no hidden fees at one easy-to-understand price.

    • Discontinue your WOW! services.
  • Should I make changes to my WOW! services before May 1?

    We encourage you to keep your ACP benefits through April 30, 2024 to receive the maximum assistance you are entitled to. Starting May 1, 2024, our team would be happy to help you choose the plan that’s best for your family and your budget. Contact Us at 866-496-9669.
