The Vernor's Club was started in January of 2007. We have members in Michigan, Ohio, New York, Illinois, New Jersey, California, Colorado, Tennessee, Virginia, Canada and more. The second annual Vernor's Collectors' Club mini-convention was held on August 23, 2008. If you weren't there, you missed a great time at what is probably the most historic Vernor's site left in Michigan. We met at the Haloburger in downtown Flint. We had Vernor's collectors displaying, selling and talking about Vernor's. We heard from the great-granddaughter of the artist who painted the huge Vernor's mural in Flint. We compared old photographs of the Vernor's Soda Shop to the actual Haloburger. And, we drank quite a few Boston Coolers, too!) Last year's show has passed, but we'll have one this year. Vernor's Ginger Ale has a rich history of great advertising. Each edition of the club newsletter contains many photos of advertising items.
