ASSOCIATION JULY 31, 1999

Meeting began at 7:15 a.m. with remarks by President Pat Carroll -- (year end review) Discussion

 

1. Milfoil report by Elaine Gronert

Found only a little in most of the lake.  Channel has lots -- close to the piers; can be hand pulled, boats are carrying it out of the channelSet up Sunday, Aug. 8, 1999 to hand pull. Meet at Gronerts pier at 10:00 a.m.


2. Lake level report

Cannot find secondary source of leakage from the lake.  Dam is controlling lake level.  Sod farm says they get their water from Turtle Creek. High impact wells (two total) have no effect on lake level per DNR inspectionDNR can put brim to control level

 

Township has provided 20 new buoys and chain

Treasurers Report

Balance as of 7/31/99 -$1,866.49. Report accepted as reported

Secretary's Report Accepted as read

Nominating Committee -- Report by Mary Baas

Slate accepted as presented

Letter from Jerry Gorby, incoming President, was presented

September 11, 1999 was set as buoy removal day

Dues is $25.00 -- need to talk to new families as they move in

Lake District issue is still alive. Carol Behrens drafted Pam Paul to get it going.

Question as to what happened to the questionnaire from last year.

Elaine Gronert presented waterfront landscaping.

July is working better for annual meeting.

Meeting was concluded at 8:20 a.m.
