OLD BUSINESS:
Membership – The committee of Patricia Carroll,
J. Jaeger and C. Oswald plan to hand deliver lake info packets, including
a welcome letter and the most recent TLA newsletter, to new residents. They
would also like to contact former members, and plan to pass out fliers
about exotics in the spring. It was
recommended that we post notices of the Annual Meeting at Turtle Inn and
Snug Harbor welcoming all to attend.
By-Laws – S. Porter, C. Mitacek, and Pat
Carroll received comments regarding the proposed by-laws.They
will also note that the Finance Committee will be responsible for an annual
audit. The final review will take place prior to the Annual Meeting.
Eurasian Water Milfoil (EM): TLA members will
request funds from the Richmond Town Board to cover spring spraying. We
will try to spray before boats go into the channel, or have them moved
for spraying.
Survey results have been sent to all respondents. We
would like to repeat in a couple of years.
Neighborhood Watch – Wally, of Richmond Township, will replace
10 of the bad signs. We are looking
at the cost of placing stickers over words on signs that are no longer
legible, because this would be less time-consuming in the future.
The lake frontage that is for sale on the south
side of the lake is essentially landlocked property, due to the current
ownership/access structure.We will
continue to monitor.
