What we do:

We specialize in both small office and home office computer consulting. We can help you with selecting, purchasing and installing the latest Microsoft products for your business, or personal needs. Please feel free to call us when your computer has: a virus, is blue screening, locking up, or simply running too slow. We can also resolve: Internet access, email, and small networking issues, help you back up your data, or with installing new software. We can also upgrade your operating system, or your PC hardware. We do some light laptop repairs. Laptop repairs can include: upgrading or replacing the hard drive, memory upgrades, diagnosing battery/charger problems. Reloading or repairing Windows operating systems and related software problems. Removing virus or spyware infections. We also install wireless and wired networks in homes and businesses. We have been doing business in the Detroit Metropolitan area since 1994. For a price list of our services, please see the Computer Repairs heading to the left. Our rates are very reasonable. Sorry, no Apple Macintosh support at this time.

Common PC Upgrades:

Software Upgrades: Upgrade your Windows operating system. The new Windows-7 should available by the 4th quarter of 2009. Please ask us about the advantages of upgrading to Windows Vista in the meantime. We can also downgrade users from Vista to Windows XP, if you are unhappy with your Windows Vista experience. We have been beta testing Windows-7 and it looks to be an excellent new operating system. We can hardly wait to start installing it for our clients.

Hardware Upgrades: Installing a faster CPU, adding more memory, a faster graphics card, a DVD, or BlueRay player/burner, a larger hard drive, TV/FM Tuners, a new LCD Monitor. The possibilities are endless. Why purchase an entire new computer when you may only need a few simple upgrades?

Custom Built Computers:

We can design and custom build a new computer system exactly configured to your needs. Whether its a home or office work station, or a powerful gaming rig. Our new systems include a full one year manufacturer's parts warranty, which covers all parts and labor (depot only). Both AMD and Intel boxed CPU's carry a 3-year warranty. We recommend Western Digital hard drives which now carry up to a five year warranty on the new Raptor and Caviar black and RE3 RAID drives. We can also provide server grade parts by request.

By using industry standard parts and cases, we avoid the planned obsolescence and limitations associated with proprietary custom manufactured parts used by most of the big name PC manufacturers. Because of this your new UFC computer will not become obsolete after only a few years of use. Most of our older PC's can easily be upgraded by simply installing a new mainboard, newer memory and or a faster CPU. Your existing ATX case including: the hard drive(s), optical drive(s), floppy drive, expansion cards and power supply, can all be reused. Why replace an entire PC every few years, when you can easily extend the life to five or more years. This brings down upgrade costs, while reducing the negative impact disposing of an older PC can have on the environment. One of the biggest problems overlooked by new PC buyers is how to move your existing programs and data from the old system, over to the new one. We can help you with that too.
