Red Cross First Aid Class
MGWA has purchased the necessary books that are needed when attending the Red Cross First Aid class. The classes are available at the Roseville Fire Department. Contact Frank Harris to get the class schedule and to check out one of the books for your use.
Photo Fun Website
MGWA WingSpan now has an additional site for sharing our event pictures. In the past only one, if any, picture from an event got posted to the "MGWA Through The Years" Photo Album and made available on the public website (currently being reconstucted). This practice will continue as a way to have a record of our past activities and also to show interested folks what we are all about.
The NEW activites albums will provide a way of displaying a complete set of pictures from an event. It allows viewing them as a slideshow or stepping through them individually. These pictures will not be available permanently (like the "MGWA Through The Years" site) but will be left available for a period of time determined by the editor.
If you have not subscribed and wish to start receiving the invitations, send an email to MGWA@wowway.com with the word "SUBSCRIBE" in the Subject Box. Subscribing and viewing the pictures is free and the site also allows you to download pictures to your personal computer if you wish to save some. These new event photo albums are not public and are only available to those having the link that is supplied in an invitation. You may SUBSCRIBE or UNSUBSCRIBE at any time.
If you want to submit [a] picture(s) for inclusion on the site, simply email them to MGWA@wowway.com. They will go through the normal editing process that submissions to the WingSpan Newsletter do : )
