You can easily search for programs across live TV, recorded TV and VOD, and search within a specific genre of programming by selecting one of the filter cards (Movies, Kids, Sports, News). DVR recordings can be managed from the Channel Listings card, any filter card, as well as the Search card, or by going to Recorded TV in the Smart Menu from any Media Player. You can also access your recordings by pressing the DVR button on your remote control. DVR recordings can be managed remotely by logging onto the WOW! You can record up to 75 hours of high definition programming or up to 300 hours of standard-definition programming. You can also connect an external hard drive to the Media Gateway for additional storage.

A conflict detection message will appear on screen indicating that all six tuners are being used. You may be recording five shows and watching live TV with the sixth tuner, which is causing the conflict and preventing you from recording or watching a seventh show at the same time. Select Recorded TV, then Options from the Smart Menu to view cancelled and deleted recordings, programs scheduled to record, series options, recording defaults and recording space.

You can access remaining storage space from either the Settings category or the Recorded TV category. Press OK on the remote from either location to see the Storage Meter. The Storage Meter lets you know how much space you have left to record more programs. You can connect an external hard drive to increase recording space. HomeConnect allows you to stream media from your computer to your Media Player. Your computer must be connected to your home network and have a DLNA server. Yes, you can select all the channels you want to display on your Channel Listings. These channel lineups can be unique to each Media Player. The Pay-Per-View channels are located under the Channel Listings card and may also appear under a genre card such as Sports or Movies depending on what is playing on that Pay-Per-View channel at the time you are searching.

Use the left and right arrow buttons on your remote control to browse through categories and the up and down arrows to scroll through items in each topic. WOW! OnDemand can be accessed by selecting the 'VOD' button on your remote, selecting the VOD card on your Smart Menu or by tuning to channel 1.
