EQUIPMENT RENTAL FEES AND CUSTOMER VIDEO EQUIPMENT DISCOUNT FOR CERTAIN VIDEO SERVICE BUNDLES[1]

1. Assessed Rental Fees.  As of February 8, 2012, WOW! imposes these equipment rental fees:

* The customer equipment discount is available to customers that supply their own CableCARD enabled device in connection with a "bundle" of WOW! services that combine video service and equipment into a single fee, including a bundled offer of multiple services. The discount is based upon the monthly fee that WOW! allocates to the lease of the WOW! equipment included in the offer and so can vary depending upon the type of navigation device and allocated fee. The listed equipment rental fees are also the amounts that WOW! allocates to the lease of the WOW! equipment included in qualifying bundled offers. For example, if we offer a bundle for a single fee that includes a Digital Cable Receiver and you choose instead to use your own navigation device, you would be entitled to a customer equipment discount of $7.00, but we would assess you a $3.50 fee for each CableCARD that you use. The fees and discount are subject to change.  

2. Bundled Offer Discount for Customer Equipment. WOW! offers a variety of video service packages for a single fee, some of which are part of a bundle that includes WOW! equipment. These bundles are available to you, even if you choose to use CableCARD enabled equipment that you own, instead of the WOW! equipment that is included in the bundled offer. Using your own CableCARD enabled equipment will result in your being charged discounted rates if we are informed of your use of that equipment in connection with a qualifying bundled service offer. The amount of the discount is generally equal to the monthly rental fee that we allocate to the WOW! navigation device that is part of the bundle, and so the discount can vary depending upon the type of navigation device included in the bundle. However, we will charge you for each WOW! CableCARD that you use for your equipment. For example, if we offer a bundle for a single fee that includes a Digital Cable Receiver, you would be entitled to a customer equipment discount of $7.00, but we would assess you a $3.50 fee for each CableCARD that you use.

If you wish to use your own CableCARD enabled equipment in lieu of the WOW! supplied device that is included in a bundled service offer, you should contact WOW! at 1-866-496-9669. CableCARD enabled equipment must be technically compatible with WOW!'s cable systems and approved for use by WOW!; must not be capable of the unauthorized receipt of any services from WOW!; and CableCARD compatible devices must have one or more WOW! provided CableCARDs activated.

A navigation device also is not qualifying if WOW! determines that it was stolen from WOW! or another video service provider, or if for any reason you do not have legal title to the equipment. A navigation device that has in any way been tampered with, reverse engineered or otherwise modified without the express written permission of the manufacturer of such equipment also is not qualifying and may not be used. If your CableCARD device or owned video converter qualifies for use on a WOW! cable system, you will be entitled to a customer equipment discount that will be applied against the bundle price. Once you notify WOW! and WOW! confirms your eligibility for a discount, WOW! will begin issuing a monthly customer equipment discount to your account.
