WOW! is Highest in Customer Satisfaction for the North Central Region in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Residential Cable/Satellite Television Study

Colorado Springs, CO – August 16, 2006 – WideOpenWest, LLC, a competitive provider of cable TV, high-speed Internet and telephone services, announced today that it has received the award for highest customer satisfaction in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Residential Cable/Satellite Television Satisfaction StudySM for the North Central Region. This marks the second consecutive year in which WideOpenWest distinguishes itself, having received the highest honor by J.D. Power and Associates in 2005 for highest overall satisfaction as well.

Operating under the brand name “WOW!”, WideOpenWest was rated highest in five of the six factors driving customer satisfaction: Customer Service, Performance and Reliability, Cost of Service, Offerings and Promotions, and Billing. The study showed that WOW! customers reported high scores in courteous customer service reps; fairness of prices paid; ability to resolve problems with one contact; ease of using automated response system/unit; reception clarity; ability to keep outages to a minimum; variety of methods to pay your bill; and clarity of payments/credits on your bill. For the first time, the study measures customer satisfaction with cable and satellite TV providers in four regional segments: North Central, East, West and South. WOW! received the highest satisfaction score in the study overall.
