Back in 2007 I was having issues with my Internet connection. The problem was intermittent and thus hard to diagnose and fix. After a few calls to customer service they sent out "the big guns", which was Stacy. Stacy gave me his business card and told me to call him directly the next time my connection went out. Stacy was able to identify the issue as it happened and fixed it! He even followed up with me later in the week to make sure the issue was truly gone. I was so thrilled that Stacy took care of the issue I sent an email to WOW! explaining the situation, and how Stacy took me from frustrated to WOW'd! Normally I would expect never to hear anything back from a company... But this is WOW! we're talking about, and they're different. Less than 24 hours after sending my email I got a response back... FROM THE CEO OF WOW!!! The CEO of WOW!, Colleen Abdoulah actually personally responded directly to me. Not a canned response, but a true personal response apologizing about the issues I experienced and thanking me for the positive feedback I left about Stacy. Ever since that experience of unbelievable customer service, nearly 3 years ago, I've been an unofficial WOW! spokesperson, telling my friends and family that they don't have to compromise; they can pay less and have great customer service by switching to WOW!. Thank you WOW!
