Fox 44 Available on WOW! Cable Channel 3 beginning July 1, 2011

Evansville, IN -June 13, 2011 - On July 1, WEVV will become the local affiliate for Fox Broadcasting in Evansville, and air shows such as "Glee", "The Simpsons", "Bones" and "House". Today, WOW! Cable customers view these Fox Broadcasting programs on WTVW-Channel 8 and Channel 803 for the HD signal. Effective July 1, WOW! Cable customers can continue enjoying their Fox Broadcasting programs on Fox 44 - Channel 3. In addition, WOW! Digital Cable customers can also tune to channel 103, while HD customers can tune to channel 803 to receive the Fox Broadcasting signal.

The transition comes about as a result of WTVW and Fox Broadcasting's inability to reach terms for renewing their affiliation agreement. Subsequently, WEVV secured an agreement with Fox and will become the local affiliate as of July 1. WEVV will continue to also be the local CBS affiliate which remains available to WOW! Cable customers on channel 10 and in HD on channel 810.

WOW! is in the process of informing customers about the channel changes in an effort to minimize confusion. The transition will occur on July 1 per the following:

Customers with specific questions regarding the programming that will be available on WTVW after the transition should contact them directly at 424-7777. Questions regarding the programming that will be available on My Fox 44 should be directed to WEVV at 464-4444.
